Health & safety guidelines

Before your appointment

  • It is import to keep your dog brushed. Brushing greatly reduces the time it takes to groom your dog and will ultimately decrease the cost associated with grooming.

  • Flea and Tick treatment is important for our pets. It is up to the owner to determine to use traditional or homeopathic remedies. If fleas are found Doddle Doo’s will use a homeopathic flea treatment before grooming. Severity of infestation will determine treatment type. A charge will be assessed for treatment.

  • I require a photo copy of vaccination records before or on your first visit. This can be hand delivered or emailed to us from your vet.

  • I will have forms to fill out on your first visit.

During your appointment

  • I will call if any issues arise during the appointment or if the dog is deemed ungroomable do to condition or behavior.

  • Dogs will sometimes misbehave when their owners are present during the grooming in an effort to demand an intervention. For this reason, we prefer that the owner is not present during the grooming process.

  • An extremely anxious dog will sometimes require multiple small visits until he or she is comfortable with a new groomer. If this occurs, I will notify you and a plan can be developed.

  • I will call to notify you when your pet will be available for pick up shortly before the grooming is finished. If you are unable to meet at the scheduled time, please call or text me to notify.
